It is binding on all forestry officials and forest industry employees that extract timber for sanitary purposes control the process. The Regulation consists of ten Sections and contains eight annexes. Section one lays down general provisions. Section two specifies the goal and objectives of sanitary felling. Section three covers sanitary felling in forests that contain different tree species. Section four addresses sanitary felling in planted forests. Section five deals with sanitary felling in protected forests where main use felling is authorized. Section six deals with sanitary felling in protected forests in which main use felling is not authorized. Section seven classifies special types of sanitary felling. Section eight covers the registration of sanitary felling. Section nine deals with quality control of sanitary felling.
