Abstract The aim of this Regulation is to protect wildlife and the ecosystem. It is composed of 10 articles. Articles 1 and 2 deal with terms and definitions. Article 3 provides for the establishment of the Technical Committee which shall study applications for the creation of national parks and protected areas. Article 4 entrusts the Council of Ministries with the definition of the borders of protected areas or national parks in accordance with the recommendations of the aforementioned Committee. Article 5 provides for obligations of applicants concerning the management, choice of places, objectives and budgets of protected areas or national parks as well as grazing and environmental tourism. Article 7 deals with allowed activities and services in national parks and protected areas. Article 9 prohibits carrying out activities in the aforementioned areas before the obtainment of necessary authorizations from competent authorities.
