It prohibits wrasse fshing beyond the established quotas. Provisions are laid down regulating the total allowable catch, vessel allocation and quotas, closed seasons, authorization for non-commercial fishing, minimum landing size, by-catch, information to be given when landing, use of fishing quotas throughout the year, transshipment prohibition, fishing methods restrictions, etc. The Directorate of Fisheries can order a fishing halt when the quotas have been used.
