Abstract

Regulation 235 of 2017 sets forth standards applicable to the characteristics and purity of olive oil and olive-pomace oil. It also provides for the classification of olive oils into categories and subcategories. The Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Water Administration, the Institute of Food Security and Veterinary, and the National Food Authority are the institutions responsible for the regulation implementation.
