This Regulation enters into force on 14 January 2005.
Abstract

This Regulation establishes that invention of biological material shall be subject to patent protection. A patent application shall include the following documents: (a) a request for the grant of a patent; (b) the description of the invention; (c) patent claims consisting of one or several claims; (d) drawings or other illustrative material referred to in the description of the invention or patent claims; and (e) an abstract of the subject matter of the invention. Patent application documents are filed with the Patent Office in Estonian, except the name of the invention in the request for the grant of a patent and the abstract of the subject matter of the invention which are filed in Estonian and English.
