Abstract

This Regulation establishes the list of tree species and hybrids subject to certification in Estonia; the categories of cultivating material, the requirements for the basic material of the cultivating material and the procedure for keeping records of the basic material; quality requirements for cultivation materials marketed in Estonia; the origin of the source material of the cultivation material permitted for use in reforestation; the procedure for certification of cultivating material; requirements for laboratories producing culturing material by micropropagation method; requirements for the packaging of sealing material and the sealing, marking and labeling of sales packaging; requirements for the self-control system of the supplier of cultivation material; requirements for notification to the relevant authority of the country of destination of the propagating material marketed in a Member State of the European Union; and requirements for the import of cultivating material from third countries. This Regulation applies to cultivation material of tree species and hybrids listed in Annex 1.
