Abstract

This Regulation places restrictions on bivalve mollusc fishing with various kinds of gear ranging from trawling nets to manual nets. Its purpose is to enhance the development of fishing and productivity of bivalve molluscs and at the same time to protect the biological ecosystem where fishing activities take place.
