Abstract

The regulation establishes the conditions and procedure for the use of 54% of the revenue from the auctioning of emission allowances in the local government sub-sector for the implementation of the measure “Promotion of energy efficiency and renewable energy use in public buildings” specified in the state budget strategy for 2017–2020. The aim of the measure is to improve energy efficiency through investments in public buildings, to reduce the cost of energy supplied to the building and the maintenance of the building, or to promote the use of renewable energy. Support will be provided to achieve the objective of the measure. The Regulation consists of six chapters: General provisions (1); Basis for granting support (2); Requirements for the applicant, the application and the energy audit of the building (3); Processing the application (4); Use of support, procurement and reference to support (5); and Implementing provisions (6).
