It is composed of 15 articles. Article 2 deals with terms and definitions . Article 3 states that requests for deforestation should be done directly to the concerned authority in the Ministry of Agriculture. Article 4 prohibits the removal of natural forest trees, rare trees, or endangered trees. In case deforestation is the only solution and cannot be avoided for the purpose of establishing buildings, the density of those trees shouldn’t be exceeding 10% (Art. 6). The Minister will form a technical committee which will work on detecting deforestation areas as well as taking care of compensation issues. Full text Arabic
