Abstract

Deductions (fees) for afforestation, conservation and protection of forests shall be calculated on the basis of timber extracted by proper means: 1) sold by forest user; 2) processed by forest user; 3) consumed for proper needs. Payments of deductions (fees) shall be considered part of cost price of forest users for the processing of timber extracted by proper means. This Regulation consists of 7 Sections. Section 1 lays down the general provisions. Section 2 specifies the categories of payers and establishes the conditions for the exemption from payment. Section 3 establishes the modalities for the calculation of the amount of deduction. Section 4 regards the modalities and the terms of payment. Section 5 concern the modalities of the accountability of deductions. Section 6 establishes the modalities of registration by tax offices of the deductions. Section 7 deals with control and supervision of the payment of deductions.
