Abstract

This Regulation sets rules for the protection of "Tørrfisk fra Lofoten" (Stockfish from Lofoten), a Norwegian traditional fish product from Lofoten, as a designation of origin. Products complying with the specifications in Article 3 can use the geographical indication "Tørrfisk fra Lofoten", together with the corresponding logo. The Annex describes the product's origin and link with the geographical area.
