This Regulation enters into force after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The Regulation sets forth the minimum quantities of biofuels and other renewable fuels to be used in the transportation sector during 2016. The wholesale companies that possess type A licensing are obligated to offer renewable fuels and biofuels at a minimum of 10% of the total amount of their fuel supply. The state entity responsible for enforcement is the Industrial and Technical State Inspectorate. Penalties used in case of infringements are those stipulated by article 25 of Law 8450 of 1999 regulating processing, transporting and trading of oil, gas and their by-products.
