This Regulation enters into force on 16 June 2000.
Abstract

The pesticide residue content in and on fruit and vegetables shall comply with the maximum residue levels set out in Annex 1 to this Regulation. The pesticide residue content in and on the dried leaves and stalks, fermented or otherwise of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis) shall comply with the maximum residue levels set out in Annex 2 to this Regulation. The pesticide residue content in and on cereals shall comply with the maximum residue levels set out in Annex 3 to this Regulation. The pesticide residue content in and on fruit and vegetables concerning which no common standards of the European Union are established shall comply with the maximum residue levels set out in Annex 4 to this Regulation. The pesticide residue content in and on cereals concerning which no common standards of the European Union are established shall comply with the maximum residue levels set out in Annex 5 to this Regulation. Residues of the pesticide 2,4-D in and on fruit, vegetables and cereals are not permitted. In order to determine the pesticide residue content in and on products of plant origin, a separate aggregate sample shall be taken from each lot. Products of plant origin which are wholly or extensively spoiled are not used for sampling. Analyses shall be carried out using methods in accordance with Estonian or international standards or other equivalent methods.
