This Regulation enters into force on the day of its signature.
Abstract

This Regulation, consisting of five Sections, establishes the Quality Inspection of Goods. It specifies standards marks, determined to certify the quality of products and goods that have met prescribed standards and to encourage the high quality products and to ensure the benefit for the Manufacturer as well as the Consumer. This standards marks are used for products and goods which have been declared satisfying National standards. It also deals with mandatory standards that are specific criteria related to security, safety, hygiene, health and environment or standard for products and goods under the Government’s strategies determined at each period. Voluntary standard is a standard criteria formulated by manufacturer in order to ensure the quality of a product and goods through advisory and it is recognized by the standards management body. The Regulation is divided as follows: Standard Mark (I); Permission on the Use of Standard Mark (II); Using of Standard Mark (III); Awards and Measures against Offenders on Standard Mark Certification (IV); Implementation (V).
