Abstract The purpose of this Regulation is to protect Grønnåsliane natural reserve, an area of 491 acres of particular importance for biodiversity due to its coastal deciduous forest with elm, linden and ash, touches of black alder forest and alder-ash forest. The area has particular scientific value due to its dry rock patches with rare and endangered vascular plants and deposits of rare species of mosses, fungi and lichens. The objective of the Regulation is to maintain conservation values in the most untouched state, and possibly developing them.
