Abstract The purpose of the nature reserve is to preserve an area of particular importance for biodiversity in terms of old and rough pine and spruce forest with dead wood in the central parts of the area of 228 acres of plants and fungi. The area has a special scientific value in the form of a core of highly fire-affected natural forests / virgin forest with several endangered old-growth species of fungi.
