The area consisting of a creek ravine is currently subject to the threatening of its vulnerable coastal spruce forest where rich and valuable lichen flora grows. The objective of the Regulation is to maintain its conservation qualities and values by applying safety modalities such as banning the removal of plants and fungi, planting or sowing other vegetation or trees, releasing animals in the area, banning construction of any type – including roads, buildings, drainage paths – and prohibiting waste disposal such as litter, fertilizers or chemical pesticides. Local authorities may grant exemption from the ban, in connection with fishing and environmentally-friendly related actions.
