Abstract

Officials of the fishing inspection are authorized to draw reports on violations of the fisheries regulations. Reports (acts) shall be drawn for each separate case of the infringement of the fisheries regulations independently of the fact whether the culprit has been identified or not, immediately but not later than 24 hours after the discovery of the offence. In the report the quantity and weight of the confiscated fish must be specified. As regards precious marketable fishes for which the amount of compensation has been set species and quantity (pieces) and also weight of illegally procured caviar of sturgeon and salmon species must be specified. Report (act) must be recorded in the register of the violations of the fisheries regulations and protection of stocks. The confiscated fishes must be immediately to fish processing enterprises in order to avoid spoilage thereof. The confiscated fishing gear and floating vessels must be delivered to the storage points of the fishing inspection.
