Abstract The Regulation applies to the fishing in the economic zone by Swedish vessels. These are only authorized to quantities of catch in the Norwegian economic zone south of 62° N, between 12 and 200 nautical miles from the coast, and west from a straight line through Lindesnes and Hanstholmen lighthouses. The Swedish flagged vessels may fish a total allowable catch of cod (382 tons), haddock (707 tons), pollock (880), Pollachius Pollachius/Merlangius Merlangus (190 tons), mackerel and bycatch thereof (242 tons), forage fish (800 tons), of which maximum 400 tons of horse mackerel, herring (922), shrimps (123 tons) and other species in the same quantities. Bycatch of cod, haddock, saithe, pollack and Merlangius Merlangus shall be calculated against quotas for these species. Catches of mackerel when fishing for herring is limited to maximum bycatch of 10% weight of each catch.
