Entry into force on 1 January 2012 with validity until the 31 December 2012.

Abstract

This Regulation applies to the ban for fishing in the territorial waters of Svalbards by Norwegian and foreign vessels. It is prohibited to fish for Norwegian spring-spawning herring in these waters. Failure to comply with this Regulation shall be subject to penalties in accordance to article 4 of Act No. 20 of 28 April 1978, and to Act No. 37 (articles 61, 64 and 65).
