Abstract The Regulation applies to commercial fishing in the territorial waters of Svalbards for Norwegian and foreign vessels, including exploration and experimental vessels. It is not permitted to fish for capelin in these waters. Failure to comply with these regulations shall be subject to penalties in accordance to article 4 of Act No. 11 and articles 61, 64 and 65 of the Marine Living Resources Act.
