Abstract

This Regulation establishes the content and form requirements for the notification submitted for notification of the cultivation of genetically modified maize and potatoes, the scope of the notification distance and the specified requirements for handling. This Regulation does not apply to the transport of properly packaged genetically modified maize seed and seed potatoes. It consists of seven sections: Scope of application (1); Notification of holder of field within information distance and extent of information distance (2); Cultivation of genetically modified crops and extent of cultivation distance (3); Requirements for transport of genetically modified crops (4); Requirements for storage of genetically modified crops (5); Requirements for cleaning upon handling of genetically modified crops (6); and Removal of sprouted plants from genetically modified crops (7).
