Abstract

The purpose of the present Regulation is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the heating of buildings, while ensuring security of supply. The Regulation prohibits the use of mineral oil for heating of buildings, unless the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate has made a decision in accordance with article 6. Farm buildings are exempted from this prohibition until 1 January 2025.
