The Regulation contains 12 articles divided into the following chapters: I. Introductory provisions; II. Monitoring of zoonoses and pathogens; III. Antibiotic resistance; IV. Outbreak of food borne diseases; V. Exchange of information; VI. Laboratories; VII. Legal basis and entry into force. The Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority shall be responsible for the implementation and supervision of the provisions of this regulation.
