Moreover their areas of provenience must have been Rinderpest and Bovine Spongyform Encephalitis-free in the last 12 months prior to the animal slaughter and export (Section 3). The animals were examined ante and post mortem and their health status certified. Also, it has to be certified that the meat and meat products have been processed safely with no contamination whatsoever. Full text English
