This Regulation comes into force on 1 April 2008.
Abstract

This Regulation provides for implementing the legal acts of the European Community or the European Union on the quota system for milk and other milk products (EU milk quota system). The Federal Financial Administration and the buyers of milk on its behalf shall be responsible for the implementation of this Ordinance and the EU milk quota system. The Regulation further provides for obligation to retransmit and bypasses, bids, determination of transfers and transmission areas, shareholder position, forced transfer and transfer certificate procedure, multiple buyers, collection of tax on deliveries and lease conditions. The Regulation is drafted in 5 Sections and 59 Articles and refer to the following issues: General Rules (1); Transfers (2); Transfer agency procedure for delivery quotas (3); Implementation and control (4); Transitional and final provisions (5).
