Abstract This Government Regulation implements for the Czech Republic requirements of Council Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources by designating the revised vulnerable zones in accordance with Article 3(4) of the Directive. Vulnerable areas are territorially defined in Annex 1. The action program shall apply to natural or legal persons who carry out agricultural production in vulnerable areas, use and store fertilizers and are registered in accordance with the Law on Agriculture.
