Abstract

This Regulation of the Council of Ministers, which is composed of nine articles, establishes the Government Plenipotentiary for the Promotion of Renewable Energy Sources. The Plenipotentiary is responsible for undertaking and monitoring activities aimed at the promotion of alternative energy sources. Its tasks include the following: (a) preparing the schedule of activities; (b) simplifying procedures for planning and executing investments concerning the use of alternative energy sources; (c) initializing activities concerning the use of wastes for energetic purposes; (d) identifying sources and destination of financial support and investments concerning alternative energy sources; (e) specifying needs in the area of research activities; (f) educational activities; (g) monitoring activities carried out by governmental institutions.
