Abstract This Regulation here establishes and provides the full text (attached in the Annex) of the Food Safety Monitoring Program for animal origin food and animal feed that are imported during the year 2023. The monitoring program is prepared based on the import risk assessment, namely: 1) the domestic consumer's exposure to a specific import shipment from a specific country of origin; 2) the history of findings of biological and chemical risks in a specific shipment of imports from a specific country of origin; 3) information from the RASFF system (Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed).
