This Regulation enters into force on 1 October 2007.

Abstract

This Regulation establishes, in accordance with the legislation of the European Community, detailed of support for afforestation of agricultural land. The afforestation of agricultural land may be supported by: (a) subsidy to establish a forest cover; (b) subsidy for the care of forest vegetation for five calendar years, starting from the year following the year of afforestation; (c) compensation for the termination of agricultural production on forested land for a period of 15 calendar years starting from the year following the year of afforestation.
