The Regulation entered into force on the day when Poland became a member of the European Union.
Abstract

This Regulation of the Council of Ministers is composed of five Paragraphs. Veterinary inspection organs are entitled to control maximum levels of radioactive contamination of food of animal origin and animal feedstuff after radiation accident. For other types of food the National Sanitary Inspection is entitled to control. The Main Sanitary Inspector and the President of the National Atomic Energy Agency shall inform the European Commission about all cases of exceeding maximum permitted levels of radioactive contamination in food and animal feeding.
