Abstract The present Regulation of the Minister of Environment, which is composed of seven paragraphs and two Annexes, concerns the establishment of special bird protection areas. It provides for the designation and administrative location and the setting up of an organ controlling the area. Paragraph 2 specifies the list of 72 locations of areas of special protection of birds, called Nature 2000. Maps of the specified areas can be found in Annex 1.
