Abstract This Regulation determines and provides for the Annual Water Status Monitoring Programme for 2020, as in accordance with the Water Law of the republic of Serbia. For the meaning of this text, the supervisory monitoring is monitoring that is performed in order to provide a complete overview of water status and provide information on long-term trends; and operational monitoring is monitoring performed to establish or confirm the status of water bodies identified as risky in terms of inability to meet indicated environmental objectives. Number and position of measuring profiles on surface waters, number and position of piezometers and other facilities for measuring the quantity and level of groundwater, manner for measuring the quantity and level of surface waters and groundwater, manner and procedure of water quality testing, number and conditions for examine the quality of surface and groundwater and the contents of the report on related determined quality and quantity of waters are all determined by this Programme.
