Abstract

This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food sets out measures to prevent introduction of harmful substances into food by treating animals with drugs containing substances having a hormonal or thyrostatic action and beta-agonists. These provisions prohibit placing on the market of stilbenes, stilbene derivatives, their salts and esters and thyrostatic substances. If the checks in animals or their products identify problems meeting the requirements for these rules in the country of origin, the Veterinary Administration of the Republic of Slovenia should immediately inform all the competent authorities in other Member States and the Commission. This Regulation is composed of 15 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Terms of use (Sec. 2); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 3).
