Abstract The present Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure is composed of seven Sections and four Annexes. The Sections are: General provisions (sect. 1); Detailed conditions and way of transport of hoofed animals (sect. 2); Detailed conditions and way of transport of other animals (sect. 3); Maximum time of journey of hoofed animals, frequency and period of mandatory stoppages (sect. 4); Procedures in case of animals fall ill or die during transport (sect. 5); Provisions of creation and functioning of stage points (sect. 6); Final provisions (sect. 7). In particular, the Act establishes detailed conditions of transport of: single-hoofed animals, cattle, sheep, goats, swine and poultry, domestic birds and rabbits; cats and dogs; other mammals and birds; other vertebrate and non-vertebrate animals.
