Abstract

This Regulation amends Article 3 of the Principal Regulation regarding the scope of the Regulation and thereby, the Principal Regulation implements only the Decree by the Council of Ministers No. 96/8125 regarding the accession of the Republic of Turkey to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora and to its Annex I, II, III. This Regulation introduces the single-window system and defines in Article 4, as "the system that ensures that all documents requested during customs procedures are provided from a single point and the system that allows customs procedures to be completed with a single point of application". Furthermore, this Regulation makes amendments in several articles regarding the authorization of institutions responsible for issuing CITES permit and certificate for export, re-export, import and introduction from the sea of each specimen of species included in the appendices I, II and III of the Regulation.
