An authority specified in article 1 shall, within its area of responsibility and within the framework of its assignments, initiate, support and evaluate the work on climate adaptation. If the authority manages or maintains state property, it shall also adapt activity to a changing climate. Specific tasks are also assigned to County Boards. The work on climate adaptation shall include an assessment of the impact of climate change on the agency's activities in a climate and vulnerability analysis. An authority shall further elaborate current government targets for its work on climate adaptation. It shall draw up a plan for the achievement of goals and targets. An authority shall report annually on the work on climate adaptation in the manner determined by the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute. Full text Swedish Website www.regeringen.se
