Abstract

This Regulation provides for state incentives to be granted, if funds are available, by the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning for measures promoting urban greenery and ecosystem services in urban environments. For the purposes of this Regulation, urban greenery means: 1. nature land, parks, avenues, trees, shrubs, hedges, plantations, green roofs and walls, surfaces for children's play and outdoor living, eco-decorations, green corridors, green infrastructure and similar green areas in urban environments; and 2. beaches, wetlands, watercourses, ditches, stormwater facilities and similar water surfaces in urban environments. Measures may also aim at improving urban resistance to high temperatures or flooding. The Regulation sets out criteria and procedures for the granting of incentives and provides for control.
