Abstract

This Regulation implements the Law on sensitive geographical information with respect to measurement of marine areas and water bodies, land surveying, photographing and other mapping and survey activities. Only authorized public bodies may carry out such activities. The Swedish Armed Forces, the Land Survey and the Swedish Maritime Administration may distribute compilations geographical information according to section 9 of the Act (2016: 319) on the protection of geographical information. These public bodies may also Regulations on the enforcement of the Law with respect to the application procedure at the respective authority.
