Abstract

This Regulation, made under section 7 of Chapter 8 of the Government law, concerns granting of incentives for investment in cutting-edge technology for sustainable urban development in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 1407/2013. This will promote the environmental, and social and economic dimensions of sustainable development. Cutting-edge technology for sustainable development means a new generation of advanced technology with high environmental performance and significant degree of innovation, and advanced system solutions: the integration of technical or other subsystems into a city to achieve significant synergies and environmental benefits. Support may be provided for project planning, planning and preliminary studies for sustainable urban development where the use of cutting-edge technology or advanced system solutions is in focus. The technology or system solutions must be able to be used in connection with new neighbourhoods being organized or existing areas are being renovated or administered.
