It also provides for the protection of purchasers and mortgagees. For the purposes of this Act a memorandum of a statutory lease executed in accordance with the provisions of the Land Tenants (Security of Tenure) Act, shall be deemed to be a deed registrable under this Act. Deeds shall be certified by a licensed Surveyor within the meaning of the Land Surveyors Ordinance.
