This Regional Regulatory Decree enters into force on the day after its publication.
Abstract

This Regional Regulatory Decree establishes measures aimed to support for 2023 the purchase of corn and sorghum seeds, for the production of forage or grain corn, within the Autonomous Region of the Azores. This Decree applies to farmers with farms located in the territory of the Autonomous Region of the Azores. Farmers who purchase corn or sorghum seeds for cultivation in the year 2023 can benefit from the support. The eligibility conditions are: 1. Farmers who have submitted a request for support, referring to the year 2023, for Aid to Arable Crop Producers of the POSEI subprogram within the Autonomous Region of the Azores (POSEI -RAA), under the terms of Order No. 22/2023 of 23 March of the Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Rural Development; 2. Only the purchase of corn or sorghum seeds that respect the maximum densities specified in the text is considered eligible.
