Abstract

It is hereby regulated the procedure to be followed by the competent authorities to issue of the concession required for the intake of public waters, both surface and underground. Article 2 defines the application scope. Title II of the Regulation describes with detail the whole procedure (application, opinions to be given by the competent Basin Authority, inspection, authorization to well digging, fixing of the fee, registration, environmental impact assessment, renewal of the concession). Title III regards the extinction of the concession. Title IV describes a simplified procedure to be applied under certain circumstances (art. 36). In case of infringement, the administrative sanctions laid down in Royal Decree No. 1775 of 1933 shall be applied.
