Abstract

Pursuant to the objectives established by the Regional Plan on Wildlife, the present Regulation lays down provisions in matter of the management of bovidae and cervidae hunting. Article 2 provides for the demarcation of those areas which may be destined to bovidae and cervidae hunting. Such areas shall be determined by the Provinces, upon advice given by the Territorial Hunting Areas (ATC). The areas shall thereafter be subdivided into surfaces of not less than 1,000 and not more than 15,000 hectares. The Managing Committees of the above-mentioned ATCs shall be in charge of the management of bovidae and cervidae. In particular, they shall carry out census and annual inquiries concerning the population of bovidae and cervidae and shall also draft hunting plans, which shall be subject to the approval of the competent Provinces. Article 6 deals with the rehabilitation of injured animals.
