This Regional Legislative Decree enters into force on the day after its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, consisting of 12 Chapters, establishes the legal regime for touristic facilities functioning and exploitation within the Autonomous Region of Azores. The Decree regulates all the activities related with tourism in the Autonomous Region and is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Touristic activities (Chap. II); Natural Touristic Facilities (Chap. III); Urban area related with tourism (Chap. IV); Classification (Chap. V); Regional Register (Chap. VI); Exploitation and functioning (Chap. VII); Touristic facility ownership (Chap. VIII); Declaration of interests (Chap. IX); Control and sanctions (Chap. X); Capacity of touristic facilities (Chap. XI); Final provisions (Chap. XII).
