Abstract This Legislative Decree, composed of 13 articles and 5 Annexes, introduces in the regional legal system the EC Council Directive No. 91/676/CEE ruling on water protection against pollution caused by nitrates derived from agricultural activities. The Legislative Decree rules in particular on control and reporting procedures. The Annexes provide identification criteria, information required in the reports and a Codex collecting good practices in agriculture. Full text Portuguese
