Entry into force notes: This Regional Legislative Decree shall enter into force on the day after its publication.

Abstract: This Legislative Decree establishes general conditions to apply the measure nº 2.2 «Fishing and aquaculture» included in the Fund for the Autonomous Region of Madeira (MAR-RAM), approved by the 3rd EC Financial Assistance Programme 2000-2006 (QCA III). It consists of 17 articles establishing the requirements to be met in order to obtain the financial assistance and specifying the aforementioned programme whose main objective is to guarantee a sustainable exploitation of the fishing sector by the modernization of this sector and the improvement of its productivity.
