Abstract This Regional Legislative Decree is composed of five Chapters divided in 37 articles and three annexes. It creates the Natural Park “Ilha do Faial”, integrating several protected areas in Faial Island. The Decree defines its borders and provides a new classification for all the protected areas therein comprised. Finally, it regulates the Park’s management and administration structure. The Annexes provide maps of the area and of the different types of protection areas. Full text Portuguese
