Entry into force notes: This Decree enters into force the day following its publication.

Abstract: This Decree is composed of 30 articles. It adapts national water legislation to Madeira Region, with the view of setting the bases and the institutional framework for water sustainable development. In particular, it adapts the provisions set by Water Act 28/2005 and Decree-Law No. 77/2006. The Regulamentary Decree regulates the hydrographic Region of Madeira, as well as its Management Authority and Regional Management Plan.
