Abstract This Regional Legislative Decree, consisting of 20 articles, establishes the legal regime for the development and exploitation of mineral resources (so called geologic resources) within the land and water of the Autonomous Region of Azores. It regulates all the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform any activity related to the exploitation of mineral resources. In particular it establishes authorization and licensing procedures.
